Let him guide you through constructing a beautiful throw sized quilt using the panel, coordinating fabric, and background. This is a quick and easy top to make - especially with Mike helping you along.

Kits and Pattern Available:
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Pattern and kit or fabrics as needed according to the pattern
- Tree of Life pattern (panel cutting instructions have changed!) - 1 panel (either tree or butterfly) – 1 yard coordinating fabric - 1-1/3 yard black fabric - 1/2 yard stripe (for binding
- Sewing machine with accurate quarter inch sewing machine foot
- Basic sewing machine supplies (needle, pins, scissors, seam ripper)
- Black thread works best for most of this project
- Rotary Cutter
- 6” x 24” ruler
- 12” square ruler would be handy
- Pins
- Large cutting mat
- Iron (with or without steam)
- Painter’s tape - about 1 inch wide (NOT masking tape)
PREPARATION BEFORE CLASS:
- Please have fabrics pressed before class
- Have black fabric and coordinating fabric cut for quilt top
- Do NOT cut the panel fabric
